To receive home health services, you must:
- Be under the care of a physician
- Be certified by the doctor to require intermittent nursing and/or other therapeutic (e.g. physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy) services
- Be certified by the doctor as “home-bound”
(i.e. having difficulty leaving home without help due to illness or injury) - Have Medicare, Medicaid and/or other selected private insurance
